The Vitals™ App reaches its first 1,000 members

July 25, 2018 – Vitals™ Aware Services surpassed the 1,000-member mark this week. We celebrate this milestone and thank all involved in helping us impact 1,000 lives.

Vitals™ builds technology for social good. Our first product is the Vitals™ App – technology that we believe will help save lives and protect communities. Little did we know that a conversation two years ago among friends would turn into a company leading a movement to make communities safer by giving first responders timely access to critical information.

In these short months, we have been inspired by the outpouring of passion and support from individuals living with visible and invisible conditions and disabilities and their families. Stories highlighting our impact have started coming in.

We have also been moved by law enforcements’ willingness to use our technology to engage more effectively with people struggling to communicate for themselves. Police and first responders have some of the toughest jobs that exist. We are committed to partnering with them to build 21st century tools that will improve policing.

Our team continues to learn from partners that have made a difference in countless lives. We appreciate the support from our founding partner – the Autism Society of Minnesota. We are also grateful for our developing partnerships with the Arc Minnesota, PACER Center and the Epilepsy Foundation of Minnesota.

Reaching 1,000 members and 25 public safety agencies marks a great milestone for a small startup, but we know this is just the beginning. With an estimated 1.3 million Minnesotans and 100 million across the United States living with some sort of visible or invisible condition or disability, we have lots of work to do.
