The Vitals™ removes guesswork from critical interactions
The job of a first responder is far from easy. With little to no information about the person you encounter, especially invisible conditions and communication barriers, you are left to the basics you’ve learned in crisis response training. The Vitals™ App adds the key missing element — real-time, personalized information about the person in front of you.
Community members with a Vitals™ App subscription voluntarily create a profile of the most important information, including disabilities, invisible conditions, behavior triggers, de-escalation techniques and more. This profile is delivered instantaneously to first responders and 911 dispatchers. Subscription options for individuals and caregivers include additional support with a Vitals™ Beacon, to automatically alert first responders with profile information when they come within 80’ of a vulnerable individual. Wandering alerts are also available (requires a smartphone) to Profile+Places subscribers.

The Vitals™ story started in 2017, as our founders listened to emergency responders and community members share how stressful and dangerous emergencies and moments of escalation can become when information is sparse and communication turns into confusion.
