March 16th, 2022 – Minneapolis, MN – Kevin brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the board with more than 20 years of executive experience with technology, SaaS and manufacturing businesses, including radio frequency identification (RFID), global positioning system (GPS) and geo-visual analytics (GIS).
Kevin is the CEO of GPSip Corporation. GPSip Corporation is a developer, intellectual property holder and licensor of Autonomous GeoGraphical Containment Technology, advancing the capabilities of standard location based systems. Applications include; Personal Safety, Public Safety, Elder Care, Health & Medical, Automotive, Airline, Animal and Asset Containment. The company has 19 United States patents and 11 US and International patents pending.
As the founder and former CEO of GuideK12, Kevin was instrumental in launching the Geo visual analytics software company that enables education decision makers to explore and analyze school district data by adding a geographic and visual dimension to their student and community information. GuideK12 products are utilized by school districts for the strategic analysis of boundaries, open enrollment, resource deployment, referendum planning, and student and community demographics.
Kevin also served as a president of Digital Angel Corp. which brought one of the best innovations to the pet care industry – the highly successful global solution for finding a pet when lost. The proprietary implantable RFID “micro-chip”, is recommended by veterinarians and humane societies globally, resulting in millions of lost pets around the world being reunited with their owners.
